The Goblin Man of Norway Director Howard Byrackk has pushed his unique form of storytelling to a new extreme in his latest documentary film. “The Goblin Man of Norway” explores the possible Norse connections to the controversial ‘Goblin Man’, discovered in northern Norway. Here’s some great news for those of you in the Toronto area. The Goblin Man of Norway will be screening as a part of the Toronto After Dark Film Festival at the Bloor Theatre this Sunday, October 19th at 3:45pm! It’s a thrill to be included in this great genre film festival and we’re all very excited to see the final product (all three parts cut together into one film) on the big screen. The film will be shown within a block of some great international short films. So if you’re in the Toronto area, be sure to head by the Bloor Theatre and check out The Goblin Man of Norway! We have been receiving a high number of emails due to the recent release of part one of Howard Byrackk’s ‘Goblin Man of Norway’ documentary. We have been trying our best to answer all emails, but simply haven’t the resources to get to everything. For those of you who are unaware, the Norwegian Film Committee has collaborated with Silicon Knights to present the film over a series of three video diaries about the creation of their video game ‘Too Human’. For those of you asking about parts 2 and 3, we have entered an agreement with Silicon Knights to post the rest of the diary as it is made available through their series, giving them exclusive distribution rights. Stay tuned to the site for the release of these parts.

Good news here at the NFC! Howard Byrackk’s ‘The Goblin Man of Norway’ has been mentioned in a series of online videos produced by Canadian video game company Silicon Knights, leading to a great spike in traffic on our site! They also requested permission to show the film in parts over their series of videos. This has led to some slight technical problems with the site, mainly due to the overwhelming number of visitors. The Norwegian Film Committee has decided to finally resurrect our website and we’re very excited about our future projects. Thanks to some new found interest in our organization, things are on a steady incline. Recently, NFC member Howard Byrackk was contacted by Canadian video game developer Silicon Knights in regards to using clips of his ‘Goblin Man of Norway’ documentary. Since then, we’ve received letters and emails from people around the world, interested in learning more about Mr. Byrackk and the films of the NFC. Now that things are up and running again, expect great things in the future. Stay tuned!
